Debugging at the Speed of Thought: Superagents, Voice, and Screen Context
I am changing how I build at Base44 by shifting from keyboard-based coding to real-time voice and screen-sharing sessions with Superagents.

The Shift from Typing to Thinking
For the last decade, building software has been a translation problem. You have an idea in your head, and you spend 80% of your time translating that into syntax. At Base44, we built the platform to eliminate that overhead through natural language generation. But even with a great LLM, there is a friction point: the gap between identifying a bug and describing it in a prompt.
Lately, I have been using Superagents with real-time voice and screen sharing. The result is a total paradigm shift in how I debug production apps.
Why Voice Beats Chat
When I encounter a logic error in a workflow, I don't write a long ticket. I trigger the voice mode for my Superagent. Because these agents have direct access to my backend through our tool permissions, I can simply show the screen and say, 'Look at why this Stripe webhook isn't updating the User entity status.'
By leveraging the InvokeLLM capabilities—specifically passing file_urls for vision—the Superagent sees exactly what I see in the browser or the logs. It doesn't just guess; it analyzes the base44.entities schema and RLS policies in real-time. It’s like having a senior engineer pair-programming with you, but they never get tired, and they already know your entire stack.
The Anatomy of an AI-Assisted Debug
- Contextual Awareness: The Superagent uses its memory to recall previous iterations of the logic.
- Direct Intervention: Since the agent is authorized to use
EntityName.updateorcompute_seconds_untilworkflows, it can actually apply the fix I suggest, or propose a rollback if a migration fails. - Reduced Latency: I stop switching tabs. I stay in the flow of the application while the agent handles the SDK calls and validation.
The Takeaway
If you are still debugging by manually querying base44.entities and parsing JSON logs, you are building at 1x speed. The future isn't just about faster coding—it's about removing the barrier between your vision and the state of your database. Use your Superagents as operators, not just code generators. Let them see your screen, let them hear your context, and let them handle the CRUD. Stop coding the solution and start engineering the outcome.
